Diesel Electric Services follows AAR Rules and Regulations and has earned M-1003 Certification with AAR.
DES is the sole provider of Mobile Wheel Truing in Canada. By providing:

- Qualification and re-profiling of wheel sets
- Roller bearing removal, qualification and replacement
- Wheel boring
- Magnetic particle testing of wheels, axles and gears
- Machining of axels and suspensions

We are fully equipped and employ fully trained and certified staff to service your locomotives, passenger cars, freight cars and maintenance of way equipment.
Complete Restoration & Wreck Repair
Diesel Electric Services hold many years of experience and unwavering capabilities in restoration and repair of locomotives at all three of our locations in Sudbury.
We operate repair and maintenance shops directly on both CP and CN rail lines allowing us to conveniently repair our customer's locomotives and rolling stock.
